Gear Fusion Guide

Gear fusion is the system that combines gear of the same slot and same grade to raise it to a higher grade. This page is a table that, starting from S-grade Epic gear, lays out the cumulative S-grade and Non-S material counts required to reach each next grade.

Even within the same slot, S-grade and Non-S grade have very different fusion efficiency. S gear gains a larger effect bump per grade step, so over the long run it is more efficient to concentrate your resources on S gear.

Fusion materials are gathered from various sources including the Guild Merchant, event shops, and chapter rewards. Check the cumulative totals on this page first, gauge which grade you can reach with your current resources, and use that to decide your next enhancement and breakthrough priorities.

Frequently Asked Questions

QWhat is the difference between S gear and Non-S gear?

Non-S gear has no Mythic grade — it can carry you through the early game, but it cannot serve as your main build at later stages. Once you push S gear all the way to Mythic, Non-S gear effectively gets consumed as material for upgrading S gear, so the standard approach for a long-term build is to target S gear from the start.

QWhich slot should I fuse first?

Upgrading S gear requires same-slot S gear as material. So it is most efficient to enhance and fuse the slot where you have stockpiled enough material (same-slot S gear) first. To decide which slot to grow first, check this site's Gear Tier page alongside the core slots of the build you are aiming for (e.g. Griffin Necklace, Oracle Armor).

QWhere do I gather fusion materials?

They come mainly from chapter rewards, the Guild Merchant, event shops, and daily/weekly missions. Working through every available daily activity without gaps and prioritizing materials when they appear at the Guild Merchant gives the biggest boost to your accumulation rate.
