Gameplay — Gauge by Grade
When fishing starts, the gauge starting position tells you the grade of the fish. Higher-grade fish start the gauge at a higher position.
Starts at a low position. Plenty of time to react.
Starts at a mid position. Watch your timing carefully.
Starts at a high position. Instant reaction required.
Fish Types & Ticket Rewards
The tickets you earn depend on the grade of fish caught. Tickets can be exchanged for items in the Fishing Event Shop.

The fishing event progresses in sets. Completing a set grants rewards and advances you to the next set. The information below is estimated from player experience and is not official data.
Normal Set (40 fish)
40 fish per set. Includes 1 Legendary fish.
Final Zone (80 fish)
The final zone has 80 fish per set. Includes 2 Legendary fish.
You can reach the final zone using only free bait. Using paid bait and packages lets you get there faster.
Tickets & Line Break
Line Break
If the distance between you and the fish exceeds 110 m, the line breaks. Bait is consumed even on a break, so managing distance is important.
Regular Ticket
Earned by catching Rare or Epic fish. Can be exchanged for various items in the Fishing Event Shop.
Premium Ticket
Earned by catching Legendary fish. Can be exchanged for higher-value items in the Fishing Event Shop.
Bait
1 Bait = 1 Gem
Multipliers of 1×, 2×, 3×, 5×, 10× up to 50× are available depending on how much bait you have. Higher multipliers consume more bait per cast but increase the chance of landing higher-grade fish.
Bait Strategy
How you use bait depends on your playstyle.
Efficiency First (F2P / Low Spender)
Reach the final zone (Polar Glacier) with free bait, then decide on additional gem spending based on which items you want from the shop.
Mid / High Spender
If your engravings are complete, aim for 184,000 Fishing Ticket points to purchase mythic artifacts such as Tidal Conch or Pan Flute. If you still need engravings, target 32,400 × 7 Fishing King Ticket points to buy Legendary Etched Runes. (You can buy 1 extra with the Gold Ticket, so purchasing 7 is enough.)
Package Recommendations
Rod Packages
A higher-grade rod lets you catch Legendary fish more reliably. It is recommended to purchase these first at the start of the event.

Purchase when you need extra casts or gems. Bait Package 5 includes rune items, making it especially efficient.

Purchasing a rod package automatically upgrades your existing rod. Buying a package lower than your current rod grade will not apply an upgrade. Your grade before purchasing.
After upgrading, the wider gauge tolerance makes even Legendary fish much easier to catch consistently.
