Character Catalog Usage Guide
The Character Catalog is a single-page reference comparing every Archero 2 character's basic info, star breakthrough effects, skill level-up effects, and skin effects. Tap a character card to flip between tabs showing rarity (rare/epic/legendary/mythic), base stats, active skill, the effects that accumulate per star tier, and shard sources — useful for research before you decide which character to raise.
The effects unlocked at each character's star breakthroughs (★1, ★4, ★7, etc.) are cumulative. That is, reaching ★4 keeps the ★1 effect active alongside the ★4 effect, and at ★7 the ★1, ★4, and ★7 effects all apply. Identify which thresholds carry the key effects under the catalog's "Star" tab to help prioritize where to invest shards.

Skins are not just cosmetic — they grant additional stats (collection attributes) and a separate skill. Some characters only complete their main build when their skin is in hand, so check the "Skin" tab in the catalog and consider the acquisition path before committing to that character.

QAre star breakthrough effects cumulative or do they overwrite?
They are cumulative. At ★4 both the ★1 and ★4 effects are active, and at ★7 the ★1, ★4, and ★7 effects all apply. Some characters unlock global passives like ATK or HP at ★1/★4/★7, so if you are targeting only the key effects, those are the thresholds to prioritize.
QDoes a character underperform without a skin?
It depends on the character. Tata and Muira need their skin to complete their core build, while Thor secures Tier 1 standing on his base mechanics alone. Check the "Skin" tab in the catalog to see how much the skin contributes before deciding.
