Hall Promotion Guide

Hall (Valhalla) promotion is the final growth phase for a character — a system where, after reaching ★7, you spend the leftover Character Shadows to push the character up step by step from LV1 to LV24. Each promotion level strengthens both the character's base stats and skin collection effects together, making it a core step for raising your main character's late-game decisiveness.

This page is a guide tabulating the per-level Shadow cost, cumulative cost, and unlock rewards from LV1 to LV24. The cost per step climbs steeply in the later levels, so rather than forcing your way to max, it is more efficient to focus resources on your core character only.

Rather than investing evenly across your entire character pool, the typical approach is to push the Tier 1 and Tier 2 characters that fill your main and resonance slots deeply first, using the Character Tier page on this site as a reference. The most resource-efficient flow is to push one character to a certain level, then move on to the next core character in sequence.

Frequently Asked Questions

QHow do I farm Character Shadows?

Conversion is not automatic — once a character reaches ★7, you have to manually convert the leftover shards into Character Shadows from the exchange menu. Finish ★ breakthroughs up to ★7 first, then exchange any remaining shards into Shadows as part of your routine.

QHow far should I promote?

It depends on your resource headroom, but the cumulative cost at later levels climbs very steeply. Looking at the cumulative cost table on this page, the typical pattern is to invest deeply only into your core character, while supporting characters can naturally stop at mid-level and still be enough.

QShould I promote every character?

No. Rather than pushing your entire character pool evenly, raising the Tier 1 and Tier 2 characters that fill your main and resonance slots all the way up first — based on the Character Tier page on this site — makes the bigger difference in late-game decisiveness. For rare-grade characters, the standard approach is to take only the ★7 star breakthrough effects and exchange any remaining shards into Character Shadow shards for Hall promotion.
