Rune Gacha Simulator Guide
Rune Ruin pulls are a probability-based gacha, and runes themselves have no pity (guaranteed reward) system. Knowing only "on average it takes N pulls to get a mythic rune" makes it hard to actually plan resources, so this simulator takes a pull count and a target rune as input and computes either the expected outcome of N pulls or the pulls required to reach a goal — giving you a foundation for resource planning.
The simulator offers two calculation modes. "Expected Value" mode shows the probability-based average outcome; "Simulation" mode shows the random outcome of one actual run. Click "Reroll" to repeat the simulation and see for yourself how much results vary at the same pull count. Don't plan only against the average — gauge the unlucky scenarios as well before committing resources.

For the same resource budget, the chance of reaching your target shifts dramatically depending on which rune you are after. You can re-target the simulator at a mythic rune, a legendary rune, a specific slot, and so on — use it to set rune priorities for your build and build a matching resource plan.
Frequently Asked Questions
QDo simulator results exactly match actual pulls?
The simulator displays statistics from over 10,000 simulated runs based on the published probabilities. Any individual pull session can deviate significantly from the average, so treat the result as a baseline for planning and add a safety margin on top.
QIs it safe to plan resources around the average alone?
Not recommended. By the nature of gacha, the same pull count can produce very different outcomes depending on luck, and scenarios needing far more resources than the average do occur. Hit "Reroll" several times in "Simulation" mode to see how much the outcomes spread across runs of the same length, then build a safety margin into your resource plan.
QIs there a pity for rune pulls?
Rune Ruin pulls have no pity (guaranteed reward) system. Every outcome depends purely on probability, so rather than planning against the "Expected Value" average alone, run "Simulation" mode multiple times and account for unlucky cases as well.
QWhich rune should I target?
A natural flow is to first check the Rune Tier page on this site to identify the T1/T2 runes that are core to your build, then set those as targets in this simulator and plan resources accordingly. The cumulative cost for mythic-grade runes ramps up steeply, so concentrating on 1-2 core slots in your build is recommended.
