Gear System Guide
Gear is one of the biggest drivers of character stats in Archero 2. Each slot has large grade gaps in power, and S-tier and above gear in particular has substantially higher base stats — making those pieces the core of any build. Check the gear tier list first to identify the most efficient gear to target.
Gear fusion is the process of combining lower-grade gear to produce a higher-grade piece. Enhancement directly raises the stats of gear you already own, while Godforge is an endgame system that pushes max-grade gear even further. Check each page for material costs before committing resources.

Enhancement uses scrolls, gold, and other materials. Prioritizing weapons over other slots is generally more efficient for damage output. Godforge requires the most resources, so prepare thoroughly before attempting it.
Gear grade alone does not grant any set effect. Set matching matters in two specific situations. First, when you equip a weapon skin — pieces that share the same set as the equipped weapon skin gain extra ATK and HP bonuses. Second, in the Godforge system — necklaces and rings only trigger their Godforge effect when they share the weapon’s set, while armor, helmet, and boots have their Godforge effect halved if they do not match the weapon’s set. Once you reach Godforge, the standard pattern is to commit one set as your weapon line first, then align the rest of your slots around it.

QWhich gear slot should I enhance first?
Gear is split into two lines: weapons (weapon, necklace, ring) boost ATK, while armor (helmet, chest, boots) boost HP. Neither line is strictly more efficient — if you're lacking damage, focus the weapon line; if survivability is the issue, spread enhancements more evenly.
QWhat's the difference between fusion and enhancement?
They are entirely separate systems. Fusion consumes gear materials to craft a higher-grade piece, while enhancement consumes gold and enhancement scrolls to raise the stats of gear you already have. You run both in parallel.
QHow do I start Godforge?
You need at least a Mythic+3 piece to begin Godforge. Check the Godforge page for per-set material requirements and step costs so you can prepare before you start.
QHow do I get S-tier gear?
S-tier gear is obtained mainly by drawing equipment with Chromatic Chest Keys, or through event shops and package purchases.
QWhen should I disassemble gear?
