Skills
A run is decided by the order you pick abilities. Use the tier list and catalog to separate the abilities to grab first from the ones to defer.
Order matters more than grade
In a sprite build, take Sprite Frenzy and Sprite Enhance before any Sprite DMG 30% option. They are a separate multiplier that never gets diluted.
Run-changing abilities such as Tracking Eye and Energy Beam appear more often with Seraph 8★ and Rabbit's Foot. The Tracking Eye guide has the setup.
Frequently Asked Questions
QAre skills different every run?
Yes. The skill pool offered each run is randomized, but your character, gear, and rune setup can raise or lower the chance of certain skills appearing. Knowing your target build direction in advance makes the picks during the run much smoother.
QHow is the skill tier list ranked?
It weighs each skill's standalone power, its synergy with other skills, and how often it shows up in current meta builds. Rankings can shift after patches, so check the latest update notes too.
QHow do skills connect to runes?
Equipping runes that align with a specific skill type (orb, fairy, etc.) amplifies those skill effects. Pick a build direction first, then pair the skills and runes that reinforce it — this is how you maximize combat efficiency.
QCan I redo a skill choice?
No. A skill you pick during a run stays for the rest of that run and cannot be changed. That is why setting a build direction in advance and browsing the catalog beforehand — knowing which options to prioritize — pays off.
QShould I prioritize skills or runes first?
Runes apply permanently across every run, so they get a higher resource priority. Skills are picked fresh every run and only matter for that run, but within a single run they are your core damage source. Build a permanent base with runes, then make skill picks during the run that match your build direction.
