QIs joining a guild required?
Effectively yes. Guild coins, research effects, and boss rewards are all locked behind guild membership, and those resources directly drive your character shard and gold accumulation. Playing without a guild puts you significantly behind on the same time investment.
QWhich guild should I join?
The more active the guild (clearing the weekly boss, faster research progress, regularly active members), the bigger your rewards. Guild boss damage-ranking rewards in particular scale with the guild-wide cumulative damage ranking against other guilds, so joining a guild that consistently lands in the higher ranks is more efficient.
QHow much time per day do I need to spend on guild activity?
5–10 minutes is enough. Just one or two boss attempts, haggling the merchant, and contributing to research covers all the daily rewards, so on a busy day you can finish the essentials and move on to other content.
QIf I switch guilds, do I lose the research effects?
Research effects apply based on the new guild’s progress. Coins you have contributed are not refunded, and the effects you can use depend on the new guild’s research progress, so check what research is already complete in the destination guild before switching.
QHow is the guild boss reward decided?
There is no guild-level tier concept for the boss itself. Your individual reward tier is determined by the damage band you personally deal to the boss — more personal damage means a better reward. The reward differences per band are listed on the guild boss rewards page.
